Jane and Martyn, Wedding Photography, Staffordshire
Happy new year you beautiful people!! I’m just catching up at the minute after a seriously busy Christmas period, so this is my first upload of 2015 (YAY!) Here we have it, the lovely couple Jane and Martyn Perry who were married last summer.
Last summer I was absolutely blessed to have worked on some weddings where the locations were simply stunning.
Jane and Martyn were married at the All Saints Church in Earls Barton and the reception was held at Dodford Manor (when I figure out how to hyperlink sites on this thing I’ll link it up). I was very lucky to work alongside some very talented colleagues of mine: Rich Greene and Phil Shaw, who filmed the wedding, and my second shooter Chris Basford. So as visual people, when we saw the venue, our eyes literally lit up! It was just perfect. To quote Chris: “So much light!!” The staff were superb and knew exactly what was happening at all times of the day.
We all met up a few weeks before the wedding and Jane, who comes from a media backround, handed us this… well this dossier/call sheet of the day including phone numbers, number of guests, seating arrangements, floor plans etc. We knew the day inside out before it started and that level of preparation is just amazing. As a wedding photographer you have to be prepared for pretty much anything that gets thrown your way, however this day was just a breeze and a true true pleasure to be apart of. Everyone made us feel so welcome and as you can see towards the end of this blog Chris even got involved in a bit of a dance! It was a special day.
Jane and Martyn are a special couple who were simply destined to be together. Congratulations guys x
